Sustainability in the built environment is dependent on the successful education and development of the next generation of researchers, built environment specialists and communities.
A primary objective of the CRC for Low Carbon Living (CRCLCL) is to provide the opportunity for committed individuals to undertake higher degrees by research that will contribute to low carbon living.
Researchers from the CRCLCL are making a significant impact, leading to carbon emission reduction, improved industry capability and cultural shifts in community attitudes.
Higher degree research students are embedded at one of the CRCLCL's five state-wide university Nodes of Excellence. In addition to receiving academic support from the nodes, research students have strong input from local industry and government and are encouraged to form close networks with fellow researchers.
