The CRCLCL was pleased to partner with the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce on a seminar held on Thursday 24 November 2016 at the University of NSW. The seminar was part of an ongoing series led by the Chamber with the intention of "providing German technology experts in energy efficiency in buildings with the opportunity to present their technologies, applicable to the private, commercial and industrial building sectors and discuss their engagement in Australia with students, lecturers and researchers of leading Australian universities". CRCLCL CEO Scientia Professor Deo Prasad welcomed around 35 attendees from industry and research sectors. Audience members listened to presentations by German experts on topics ranging from smart buildings and smart cities to measuring energy efficiency performance in buildings. CRCLCL Program Leader Professor Alistair Sproul provided a local perspective, speaking on low energy buildings in Australia.
