The CRC for Low Carbon Living and the international Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre warmly invite government and industry representatives to participate in a free, one-day workshop Ventilation for Indoor Air Quality and Cooling at UNSW Sydney's CBD Campus.
The event is proudly sponsored by Plus Energy Living, Brink Climate Systems and Renson®
The workshop is presented in collaboration with the Department of the Environment and Energy; Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre (AIVC) a body of the International Energy Agency, International Network for Information on Ventilation and Energy Performance (INVIE), The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), The Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH) and UNSW Built Environment.
Aiming to inform Australian researchers and engineers on recent developments in the field of ventilation technologies, the workshop will give international experts visiting Australia the opportunity to present global research to their local counterparts. The workshop will showcase research that determines optimum ventilation levels and the development of advanced ventilation technologies to promote comfort, energy conservation and better indoor environmental quality in buildings.
The Ventilation for Indoor Air Quality and Cooling workshop aims to:
- Discuss the optimum use of natural, mechanical and hybrid ventilation technologies to promote health, productivity, IAQ, energy conservation and thermal comfort
- Present the recent achievements in Australia in terms of ventilation technologies
- Provide a forum for international and local experts to discuss the future of ventilation technologies for the building sector
